UDAYAM ANTI-DRUG CAMPAIGN PROGRAM REPORT

An Anti-Drug Awareness Programme was conducted on 30-10-2025 with the objective of educating
participants about the harmful effects of drug abuse and promoting a drug-free society. The
programme included informative sessions led by eminent speakers from the medical, police, and
administrative fields.
The sessions explained different types of drugs such as depressants, hallucinogens, and stimulants,
and highlighted their physical, mental, and social impacts. Special emphasis was given to the stages
of addiction—trial, regular use, and abuse—and the long-term consequences of substance
dependency.
Interactive discussions helped participants understand how drug abuse affects health, family life,
and society at large. The programme concluded with a strong message encouraging youth to make
responsible choices and spread awareness with the slogan “Say No to Drugs.”
