HIV Day

In connection with World AIDS Day, the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of MGM College of
Engineering & Technology organized an HIV/AIDS Awareness and Pledge Programme for students
and faculty members. The objective of the programme was to create awareness about HIV/AIDS, its
prevention, and to promote a stigma-free and compassionate society.The programme began with a
brief introduction highlighting the significance of World AIDS Day and the importance of spreading
correct information about HIV/AIDS. This was followed by the administration of the HIV/AIDS
Pledge, where all participants solemnly pledged to raise awareness, practice healthy lifestyles, and
show empathy and support towards people living with HIV/AIDS.
