Hackrush 2026

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) , MGM College of
Engineering & Technology organized a Hackathon session titled "Hackrush." The event
created a vibrant inter-collegiate platform for innovation and collaboration, where 102
participants worked to develop creative technological solutions to real-world challenges within
a limited time, competing for a prize pool of 10,000.

The main objectives of the Hackathon program were to:
-Encourage students to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
-Provide an inter-college platform for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
-Enhance teamwork, coding, design, and project development skills.
-Promote entrepreneurship and startup culture among students.

Students actively participated in idea generation, development, and final presentations. The
intensive nature of the session pushed participants to refine their technical abilities while
working under pressure to meet project milestones.
The Hackathon Program successfully fostered innovation, collaboration, and
experiential learning, thereby strengthening the institution’s innovation and entrepreneurship
ecosystem. By bridging the gap between academic theory and practical application,
"Hackrush" served as a catalyst for the next generation of student entrepreneurs.
